Ithunga Youth Development is a youth organization that was founded in January
2002 as a non-profit organization. This is an arts and culture organization that provides services
on community development and heritage. Ithunga Youth
Development is based in Pinetown but their service expands across South Africa. Some of
the achievements of Ithunga Youth Development are the successful hosting of the
KZN Cultural Heritage Carnival which is a project of the Premier of the province, with the KZN
Youth Commission in association with Ithunga Development as an implementing
partner. The project aims to show case the beauty of the diverse cultural heritage
of the people of KZN.
