Description: Hillcrest AIDS Centre is a registered NGO which has an education, feeding programme, food garden project, an income generation project, testing and respite centre. Second hand clothes are brought in by the community and bagged, and sold to 16 families in desperate need, they in return sell the clothes off and a susatainable income is made. Second hand goods, kitchenware, toys, sporting goods, books, furniture, and linen are sold to bring in an income for the centre. Craft materials are turned into quilts rag- dolls and scarves by our sewing groups. All waste is turned into something beautiful!
