Donation points set up to collect food for refugees from xenophobic attacks Print

donate.jpg The Durban Action Against Xenophobia group has established a number of food donation points across the city.  Food collected at these points is delivered to the Red Cross who is distributing it to foreigners displaced by recent Xenophobic Violence.  Donations can be made at the following places from 8am to 6pm:

  • Pick n Pays at Musgrave, Pavilion, La Lucia, Hyper by the Sea, Montclair
  • Spars at Glenwood Village, Richden, Waterfall
  • Checkers Hyper Pavilion
  • UKZN main university libraries

The Donation sites will be up and running until Sunday. If you would like to volunteer to help in the collection or transportation of goods please contact Anthony on 082 459 0881.
