The Daily News and other newspapers in the independent group have launched a South Africa Cares Campaign to show “real heart of South Africa”.  The Daily News has appealed to South Africans to donate funds for the relief of refugees from Xenophobic attacks in South Africa.  The Daily News and its sister newspapers have donated R250,000 to kickstart the fund.   Money donated will be given the Gift of the Givers and SA Red Cross for their relief efforts.  Donations can be made to:
